Our litters are generally sold before they’re born, if not before they’re conceived. Consequently, our clients & customers are people who plan ahead… They’re deliberate and purposeful people, who believe that that a genetically sound dog coupled with an exceptional temperament is worth waiting for.
The “first pick” puppies in any litter will always be reserved (either by Brooks Labradors LLC or by one of several Service Dog schools).
Puppies are sold on a AKC Limited Registration for $1,600 (plus tax). Full registration is considered for Service Dog Schools, professional breeders and buyers who are active in the conformation show ring (different pricing, contract and guarantee apply).
You must agree to enroll in basic obedience classes to be considered as a candidate for our dogs.
If you are not absolutely committed to training your puppy (basic obedience and setting boundaries for behavior), we will not sell you one of our puppies.
We ask for a 50% deposit to reserve a puppy. We accept deposits by check or credit card to reserve a spot on the list (your spot is reserved when the deposit is in hand). When our puppies are in their 8th week and are ready to go home, our buyers pick their puppies in the order we received their deposits.
In the event we do not have enough puppies of the gender or color you have reserved, your deposit is refundable. You may (if you prefer) transfer your deposit to a future litter, but at no time will you bump someone else’s position on a litter they have already placed a deposit on.
Price includes first vaccination, microchip and Health Guarantee and AKC Registration papers. We do not remove dewclaws.
Take-home dates will generally be on a Sunday when the puppies are 8 weeks old. Since our customers travel here from all over the U.S. (and occasionally from overseas), we reserve the right to adjust the take-home date to accommodate the majority of buyers in a given litter.
As a rule, we do not ship puppies. Instead, many folks fly here from around the U.S. on a one-day round trip ticket. We can meet you at the airport and hand you your puppy (for an additional fee), then your puppy can fly back in the cabin with you as carry-on (in a “soft kennel” duffle bag). This is much less stress on the puppy.

Our dogs have a Genetic Advantage:
-We certify our dogs’ HIPS through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA).
-We certify our dogs’ ELBOWS through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA).
-We certify their Eyes through the Canine Eye Registration Foundation (CERF).
-We screen our dog’s DNA for Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA).
-We screen our dogs DNA for Exercised Induced Collapse (EIC).
-We screen our dogs DNA for Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM).
-Our dogs obtain their OFA Congenital Cardiac clearances.
